Due to the importance of human communication in the world, studying the relationship between culture, language and translation is a valuable issue. Different cultures, the variety of and the importance of human communication made translation an effective factor in communicating, exchanging cultures and knowledge.

Starting by talking about language, firstly it is used to maintain and convey culture and cultural ties. Language is the principal method of human communication, consisting of words used in a structured way and conveyed by speech, writing or gesture. Moving to culture, and that is a way of life and a manifestation of a human intellectual achievement regarded collectively. Lastly, the most important topic, translation, which is the communication of the meaning from a source text to a target one, from a language to another but with maintaining the cultural ties and respecting each one. As Larson claimed, “Translation is a complicated process”. And the translator when concerned to transfer a meaning find each time a way to express the meaning wherever it is meant to be transferred. And nowadays, translation is considered as a cross-cultural communication and not cross-linguistic activity. One of the most serious problems facing translators is the differences of cultures and have produced the most far-reaching misunderstanding among readers because culture has its own limitation in transferring the meaning from a source text to a target text.        

In conclusion, there is an undeniable fact that language, culture, communication and translation have an unbreakable bond. However, good translations can be performed by human translators who strength the relation between cultures.
