It was mentioned before that when it comes to the limbic brain and explaining your “WHY”, the language will cut itself out. You cannot explain why you are feeling the way you are; you can try though.
But that does not give you, in any way, the right to feel guilty about the choices you make just because you cannot explain them rationally. It’s enough to feel that you made the right decision, and nobody needs to approve it. Rational decisions are made out of fear, but when you are strong enough to follow your gut, that’s when the real game starts.
If you ask any successful businessman, CEO, any leader or even someone in a happy healthy relationship, they will assure you that what you feel is not rational will be the best decision you will ever make. That’s why they always say that when you have a Q&A test, always go for the first choice that feels right.
So next time you try to explain your choices and rationalize decisions that you made, just keep in mind that as long that you feel that it is the right one, don’t feel guilty about it, don’t limit yourself by the beliefs of family and society and the most important thing, don’t ever doubt yourself.
